Pleasant View is committed to protecting the privacy of members of our community and those who come in contact with and or interact with the school. The school has put into place procedures that help to safeguard personal information provided to the School by members of our community as well as individuals not directly affiliated with the School. Unfortunately, even the very best of plans may result in an inadvertent disclosure as such we have drafted guidelines to assist the community protect personal information.

The School collects personal information provided by sending us an email sent to the School, when an individual participates in a survey, or completes an online form. Personal information provided to the School is not shared with non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection. When a user submits personally identifiable information, it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection.

In cases where the consent for the use and disclosure of personal information is required, the School will seek consent from the appropriate person. In the case of a student’s personal information, the School will seek the consent from the student and/or parent/guardian depending on the circumstances at hand and the student’s age and ability to consent to the proposed use and disclosure.

The School is committed to protecting the personal and confidential information of the users of our website. When users submit personal and or confidential information via online forms, registration, or online purchase, upon submission that information is encrypted via the SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) the system is set up so that credit card numbers are not permanently stored on our website servers.

Comments to blogs and social media are viewable by other users. Please be aware of this when posting personal information in these areas. The School monitors the website and other areas where postings may occur and retain the right to remove such postings as are inconsistent with the School’s culture, mission, and the best interest of the students.
